Description:

This instrument is used to measure the wear resistance of woven and knitted fabrics, and can also be used for nonwovens. It is not suitable for long-pile fabrics. It can also be used to measure the pilling performance of wool fabrics under slight pressure. It is not suitable for wool fabrics with a thickness of more than 3mm.

How it works:

1. Place the circular sample on the grinding head and make a flat contact with the standard wool fabric abrasive fixed on the grinding table under the specified pressure. Perform multi-directional translational friction according to the Lissajous motion trajectory (the trajectory synthesized by two mutually perpendicular resonant motions) until the sample is ground to the specified number of times and the instrument automatically stops running. This machine has two motion trajectory functions: large and small Lissajous.
2. The characteristic of this motion trajectory is that the sample can make multi-directional translational motion so that the sample is subjected to uniform friction
3. This instrument can also be used for reciprocating friction tests.

Structural features:

1. This instrument is composed of two parts: the instrument body and the electrical part. It is a tabletop structure. The metal component is the main body of the instrument, and it performs the test work through the electronic control system. Its movement is driven by the motor, and the grinding head is driven to move through the reducer, guide plate, etc. The movement trajectory of the grinding head is similar to the actual wear process of the fabric.
2. The number of frictions of the sample is recorded in the counter by the counting signal sent by the Hall sensor.
3. When the preset times are completed, the instrument will stop automatically.
