Yarn Hairiness Tester
Introduction
The YG171 L B Yarn Hairiness Tester (hereinafter referred to as the Hairiness Tester) is a dedicated instrument for measuring yarn hairiness. This instrument is suitable for testing the surface hairiness length, hairiness index, and distribution of pure and blended yarns of various natural and chemical fibers.
Yarn hairiness refers to the fiber ends or fiber loops that protrude from the yarn surface.

Main technical indicators of the instrument
- Detected hairiness length: The hairiness index of hairiness lengths of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 mm is measured simultaneously.
- Hairiness length setting accuracy: less than 0.1mm.
- Hairiness resolution: less than 0.5mm.
- Test speed: 15m/min±5%, 30m/min±5%, 60m/min±5%.
- Yarn test segment length: 1 to 100m, arbitrarily set.
- Continuous test times: 1 to 100 times, arbitrarily set.
